Stepping Back - I

Generally I shoot rather tight. Little to no wasted space and up close and personal. Knowing this, I'm challenging myself to go wide when the situation presents itself. So today, tomorrow and for the next handful of posts I have a series of photos that take a step back and scope out the whole scene.

Kevin,
I like this image for its composition and also because you have good separation between (and definition of) the two people in the lower right. I would not be afraid to boost the mid-tone brightness of this image so that we can see then a little better, and to bring out the evening sky a bit more.

Hey David,
Thanks for the C&C, it's always appreciated. While I shot it for the silhouette, I will take your suggestion to heart and give it a try.
